Johan is one of our fantastic, amazing volunteers that helps us out and understands the value of giving and taking. Take part at parkrun some weeks and help out and encourage other weeks. That's how parkrun works, every week for free means that we need YOUR help sometimes. There's no need to be hesitant, it's a great way to get involved in a super positive thing and meet some really cool people; you also get to wear a funky, yellow high-vis vest with parkrun on the back.
This week's Örebro parkrun was made possible by 9 volunteers:
Matt FORD • Andrew LOWRY • Ulrika FORD • Erika BERGENTZ • Annica SJÖLUND • Wilhelm BERGENTZ • Sadie FORD • Johan LINDSKOG • Veida HARLIN
We had 40 runners, of whom 10 were first timers and 13 recorded new Personal Bests. These are great stats which shows we are growing, new people are checking us out and our "regulars" are consistently better their times week after week.
There's no need to be put off by the weather as we have "ordered" sun from 09.30-10.30 on Saturday mornings, as was the case this week.
Just look at that view!
Please keep spreading the word about our amazing event and remember your personal barcode is a free entry to ANY parkrun around the world. We are growing in Sweden with events in Hagaparken and Huddinge in Stockholm, Skatås in Göteborg and now event Toyenparken in Oslo.
