What a truly stunning morning to host Örebro parkrun event #33; this was the kind of morning that made you glad to be alive! Cold and crisp with a stunning sunrise over the amazing Rynningeviken.
Great to see again lots of people turning up and continuing to enjoy parkrun with us. We saw a few new people turning up this week, which is fantastic, just remember to register and bring along your barcodes. Officially the policy is "no barcode no time" and as this in the ONLY request we have to take part at parkrun for free every week, we don't feel it's a great deal to ask. Do you?
Örebro parkrun was a pleasure to run for me this week and it's great to mix it up; volunteer some weeks, run by myself or jog with my family that's the beauty of this event, it holds something for everyone. I saw ice forming on Hjälmaren as we cross over Rävgången rounding via the "boom" and back along the road with the sun in our faces, back towards the Värmestugan with Jimmy snapping away; trying to muster up enough energy to jump off the ground and not look a total muppet (as I usually do!). Big thanks to Jimmy and Petter for your amazing pictures that helps us to spread the parkrun love.
43 people took part this week and I counted more than half that amount at Naturens Hus afterwards enjoying a well-deserved chat and fika.
See you next Saturday
Lots of great pictures this week thanks to Jimmy
